BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Resolution No. 01-270 passed by City Council on November 13, 2001 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to submit an
application to the Texas Criminal Justice Division for grant funding in the
total amount of$31,783.75 for the Family Violence Task Force, to commit
the City to provide the required applicable cash match of$8,922.50 and an
In-kind match of$1,671.25, which is 25% of the project cost, to assure that
in the event of loss or misuse of the Texas Criminal Justice Division (CJD)
funds, the City will return all funds to CJD and to designate Paula Labrie,
Controller, as the Financial Officer for the above project.
