WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract to purchase approximately
forty (40) sets of fire protective clothing for the Beaumont Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Casco Industries, Pasadena, Texas, submitted a bid at the prices
shown below:
BRAND QUANTITY PANT & COAT SUSPENDERS TOTAL
Globe 40 $1,140/set $31/set $46,840
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Casco
Industries, Pasadena, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Casco Industries, Pasadena,Texas, in the prices shown above
to purchase approximately forty (40) sets of fire protective clothing for the Beaumont Fire
Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the30th day of
October, 2001.
