BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont, in support of economic development through unity of
our vital waterway system, supports the creation of the Jefferson County Waterways and
Navigation District as a unifying agency for the economic well-being of all Jefferson
County, and encourages all citizens to vote for the creation of the district on November 6,
2001.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 23rd day of
