BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a horizontal directional bore of
approximately 400 feet in length; and,
WHEREAS,Janco Construction Co., Inc. submitted a bid at the unit price of$57 per
foot, for an estimated total expenditure of $22,800; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Janco
Construction Co., Inc., should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Janco Construction Co., Inc., for the purchase of a horizontal
directional bore of approximately 400 feet in length at the unit price of$57 per foot, for an
estimated total expenditure of$22,800, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 23rd day of
October, 2001.
