WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two (2) 35-foot municipal
transit coaches; and,
WHEREAS, Nova BUS of Roswell, New Mexico, submitted a bid in the amount of
$604,116.36; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Nova BUS of
Roswell, New Mexico, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Nova BUS for the purchase of two (2) 35-foot municipal transit
coaches in the amount of$604,116.36 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the Stn day of
October, 2001.
