BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Blue
Cross and Blue Shield of Texas for a one-year contract commencing January 1, 2002 to
provide third-party administration of the City's self-funded medical and indemnity dental
plans and a fully-insured Health Maintenance Organization (HMO Blue Texas).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 9t' day of
October, 2001.
