WHEREAS, bids were received for a seven (7) year financing agreement with a fixed
interest rate for the purchase of an 800 MHZ radio communication system for the Police
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Banc One Leasing Corporation submitted a bid for a seven (7) year
financing agreement with a 4.19% fixed interest rate; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Banc One
Leasing Corporation, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Banc One Leasing Corporation, for a seven (7) year financing
agreement with a fixed interest rate of 4.19% for the purchase of an 800 MHZ radio
communication system for the Police Department, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 18th day of
September, 2001.
