WHEREAS, bids were received for the additions and renovations to the Water
Utilities Service Center located at 1350 Langham Road; and,
WHEREAS, Cleveland Construction, Inc., Mauriceville, Texas, submitted a bid in
the amount of $468,828; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Cleveland
Construction, Inc., Mauriceville, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Cleveland Construction, Inc., Mauriceville, Texas, for the
additions and renovations to the Water Utilities Service Center located at 1350 Langham
Road in the amount of $468,828 be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for such project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 11th day of
September, 2001.
