WHEREAS, bids were received for the sale of City-owned surplus property from the
Major Drive Widening Project, being a 0.21 acre parcel of land described as part of Lot 21
of the Frazier Place Addition, located at the southwest corner of Major Drive and Frazier
Drive, as shown on Exhibit "A';and,
WHEREAS, J. Warren Fontenot submitted a bid of$3,755; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by J. Warren
Fontenot should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by J. Warren Fontenot of $3,755 for the sale of City-owned
surplus property from the Major Drive Widening Project, being a 0.21 acre parcel of land
described as part of Lot 21 of the Frazier Place Addition, located at the southwest corner
of Major Drive and Frazier Drive, as depicted in Exhibit "A" be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to
execute any and all documents necessary to transfer title of the above mentioned property.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
