WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas, awarded a contract
to Brystar Contractors, Inc. in September, 1999, in the amount of$123,618 for the Sanitary
Sewer Rehabilitation of Small Diameter Mains - Contract I; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of$2,000 is required;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No.
1 increasing the contract in the amount of $2,000. The project, as stated above, be and
the same is herein accepted and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to make
final payment in the amount of$6,280.90 to be paid to Brystar Contractors, Inc.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the, &-day of
1999.
