WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase of one (1) diesel powered cab and
chassis equipped with a forty-five (45) cubic yard trailer; and,
WHEREAS, Olympic International Trucks submitted a bid in the amount of
$68,019.66 for one (1) diesel powered cab and UTEC Trailers submitted a bid in the
amount of$33,260 for one (1) forty-five (45) cubic yard trailer; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Olympic
International Trucks and UTEC Trailers should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Olympic International Trucks in the amount of$68,019.66 for
one (1) 2000 International cab and chassis and the bid submitted by UTEC Trailers in the
amount of $33,260 for one (1) forty-five(45) cubic yard trailer be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
