WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase of three (3) 55 HP diesel driven
tractors for the Clean Community Department; and,
WHEREAS, Eastex Farm and Home, submitted a bid in the amount of $49,987.08;
and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Eastex Farm
and Home should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Eastex Farm and Home for the purchase of three (3) John
Deere Model 5310 tractors in the amount of $49,987.08 for the Clean Community
Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the -1<al�day of
1999.
