WHEREAS bids were received for a one-year contract for the purchase of sand
cement; and,
WHEREAS, Transit Mix, Inc. submitted a bid in the unit costs of$9 per ton for one
(1) sack, $10.50 per ton for 1 'h sacks, and $12 per ton for two (2) sacks; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Transit Mix, Inc.
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Transit Mix, Inc. for the purchase of sand cement in the unit
costs of$9 per ton for one (1) sack, $10.50 per ton for 1 '/ sacks, and $12 per ton for two
(2) sacks be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the Jt day of
1999.
