WHEREAS, bids were received for a five-year financing agreement with a fixed
interest rate to purchase two International 8100 4 x 2 cab and chassis equipped with 45
cubic yard trash hauling bodies at a cost of $206,419.32 authorized by Council on
December 22, 1998 ; and,
WHEREAS, Banc One Leasing Corporation submitted a bid for a five-year financing
agreement with a fixed interest rate of 5.39%; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Banc One
Leasing Corporation should be accepted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Banc One Leasing Corporation, for a five-year financing
agreement with a fixed interest rate of 5.39% be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the
City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the instruments necessary to provide the
financing.
