WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase of thirty-five (35) personal
computers for the Information Services Division (IS); and,
WHEREAS, En Point Technologies, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount
of $1,455 each, totaling $50,925 with optional add-on modem at $31.10; optional token
ring card with software at $210.75; and with an option to extend the contract for an
additional six (6) months; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by En Point
Technologies, Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by En Point Technologies, Houston, Texas in the amount of
$1,455 each, totaling $50,925 with optional add-on modem at $31.10; optional token ring
card with software at $210.75; and with an option to extend the contract for an additional
six (6) months be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
11999.
