WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of 102 external floppy disk drives
to be utilized by Police and Fire personnel in conjunction with mobile data terminals
previously purchased; and,
WHEREAS, OMAC Group, Inc., Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$20,703.96; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by OMAC Group,
Inc., Houston, Texas, should be accepted,
NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by OMAC Group, Inc., Houston, Texas, in the amount of
$20,703.96 for the purchase of 102 external floppy disk drives to be utilized by Police and
Fire personnel in conjunction with mobile data terminals previously purchased be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
