WHEREAS bids were received on June 21, 1999, for the sale of surplus property
located at 1845 Pine Street; and,
WHEREAS, Magnolia Cemetery Company, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of $35,501.01; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Magnolia
Cemetery Company, Beaumont, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Magnolia Cemetery Company, Beaumont, Texas for the
purchase of surplus property located at 1845 Pine Street, in the amount of $35,501.01 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to
execute a Deed Without Warranty to Magnolia Cemetery Company.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the %-t4 day of
