WHEREAS, bids were received for the demolition and removal of the south water
plant located at 1550 Pine Street; and,
WHEREAS, Durrett Demolition and Services, Manvel, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of $115,000; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Durrett
Demolition and Services, Manvel, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT.-
THAT the bid submitted by Durrett Demolition and Services, Manvel,Texas, in the amount
of$115,000 for the demolition and removal of the south water plant located at 1550 Pine
Street be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract for such project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 11th day of
September, 2001.
