WHEREAS, bids were received for a three (3)-year contract for grounds
maintenance of the Fairgrounds; and,
WHEREAS, Perfect Cut Lawn Care, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of $19,780; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Perfect Cut Lawn
Care, Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a three (3)-year
contract beginning within thirty (30) days after the date of award by City Council with
Perfect Cut Lawn Care, Beaumont, Texas, for grounds maintenance of the Fairgrounds
in the amount of$19,780. The contract provides for an annual increase not to exceed the
percentage increase in the CPI.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 11th day of
September, 2001.
