WHEREAS bids were received on August 13, 1999, for the purchase of sixty (60)
laptop computers for the Management Information Systems Division (MIS); and,
WHEREAS, Tangent Computers, Burlingame, California, submitted a bid in the
amount of$106,920; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Tangent
Computers, Burlingame, California, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Tangent Computers, Burlingame, California, in the amount of
$106,920 for the purchase of sixty (60) laptop computers for the Management Information
Systems Division (MIS) be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the _ day of
1999.
