WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on Monday, August 2, 1999, for
improvements to the Beaumont Yacht Club; and,
WHEREAS, Bo-Mac Contractors, Inc. of Beaumont, submitted bids for Contract No.
1 (construction of sheet piling bulkhead) and Contract No. 2 (construction of the fueling
and east dock, west dock and wet stalls 1-24) in the estimated cost of$962,897; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Bo-Mac
Contractors, Inc. of Beaumont, should be accepted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Bo-Mac Contractors, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas for Contracts 1
and 2 in the estimated lump sum cost of $962,897 including a unit cost of $3/CY for
excavated material from the entrance channel and $63/CY for installation of flowable
concrete be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
