WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land as described
on attached Exhibit "A" for the Neighborhood Revitalization Project; and
WHEREAS, this property needs to be conveyed to the Statewide Consolidated
Community Development Corporation, Inc. for the construction of new homes for the
Neighborhood Revitalization Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and is hereby authorized to execute a deed conveying Lots
10 and 11, Block 20 of the Cartwright Addition, 1820 and 1830 Corley Street, attached
hereto to the Statewide Consolidated Community Development Corporation, Inc. for the
construction of new homes for the Neighborhood Revitalization Project.
