WHEREAS, bids were received on August 2, 1999, for the purchase of one (1) road
marking machine; and,
WHEREAS, Trantex, Inc., Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$32,880; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Trantex, Inc.,
Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Trantex, Inc., Houston, Texas for the purchase of one (1) Graco
Road Lazer Model 231-572 road marking machine in the amount of $32,880 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1999.
