WHEREAS, on May 25, 1999, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
awarded a contract to Moore's Waterproofing for facade repairs to the Julie Rogers
Theatre in the amount of $176,681; and,
WHEREAS, during the course of the project, Change Order No. 1 is required in the
amount of$41,970 to repair the backup brick wall and to tuck-point all cast stone panels
on the building's west exterior; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No.
1 in the amount of$41,970 increasing the contract amount to $218,651.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the
day of 1999.
