WHEREAS, on February 16, 1999, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
awarded a contract to BoMac Contractors, Inc. for the construction of improvements to the
Beaumont Fire Training Center in the amount of$1,046,504.63; and,
WHEREAS, during the course of the project, Change Order No. 1 was approved
by Council in the amount of $23,705; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is required in the amount of $15,120 to add
limestone paving to the approach areas to the fire training projects;;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No. 2
in the amount of$15,120 increasing the contract amount to $1,085.329.63.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the
