WHEREAS, on February 16, 1999, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
awarded a contract to BoMac Contractors, Inc. for the construction of improvements to the
Beaumont Fire Training Center in the amount of$1,046,504.63; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of$23,705.00 is required to add
the construction of three (3) concrete vaults to facilitate road crossings necessary for
process pipe and electrical conduit runs to various fire training areas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No.
1 in the amount of $23,705.00.
