WHEREAS, bids were received on June 21, 1999, for the 1999 Street Rehabilitation
Program; and,
WHEREAS, L. D. Construction, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$1,611,356.25;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by L. D. Construction, Inc.
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by L. D. Construction, Inc. for the 1999 Street Rehabilitation in the
amount of$1,611,356.25 be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be
and he is hereby authorized to execute such contract.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the /' day of
