WHEREAS bids were received on Monday, June 7, 1999 for the purchase of one
(1) diesel engine generator set and transfer switch to provide emergency backup power
for the wastewater handling system and all pumps at the Beaumont Fire Training Grounds;
and,
WHEREAS, Southern Plains Power, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount
of$23,030; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Southern Plains
Power, Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Southern Plains Power, Houston, Texas in the amount of
$23,030 for the purchase of one (1) diesel engine generator set and transfer switch be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1999.
