WHEREAS, bids were received June 14, 1999, for the purchase of one (1) 15,000
lb. Gross Vehicle Weight Requirement (GVWR), diesel powered cab and chassis
equipped with a telescopic aerial device; and,
WHEREAS, Philpott Ford, Pt. Neches, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$51,513; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Philpott Ford,
Pt. Neches, Texas, in the amount of $51,513 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Philpott Ford, Pt. Neches, Texas, in the amount of$51,513 for
the purchase of one (1) 2000 Ford F450 Super Duty cab and chassis equipped with a
Dura-Lift aerial device be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1999.
