WHEREAS, the lawsuit of Freddie Gatlin, et al v. David Roubein, et al, has been
discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held Tuesday, June 1, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager or his designee be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the City
of Beaumont's subrogation claim in the lawsuit of Freddie Gatlin, et al v. David Roubein,
et al, for the sum of Seventy-seven thousand, seven hundred Dollars ($77,700).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the Z,2&Day
