WHEREAS, bids were received Monday, May 17, 1999, for the purchase of an
asphalt pothole patch truck for the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage
Division; and,
WHEREAS, H. D. Industries, Inc./Barrett Motors, Jacksonville, Texas, submitted a
bid in the amount of$87,145; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by H. D. Industries,
Inc./Barrett Motors, Jacksonville, Texas in the amount of$87,145 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by H. D. Industries, Inc./Barrett Motors, Jacksonville, Texas, in
the amount of$87,145 for one (1)2000 GMC cab and chassis equipped with a Pro-Patch
Asphalt Pothole Patcher body be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
