WHEREAS, bids were received on Monday, May 10, 1999, for furnishing
approximately 660 lunches per day for the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)
sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Regal Food Service, Inc., Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$1.825 per lunch at a total estimated cost of$57,816.00; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Regal Food
Service, Inc., Houston, Texas should be accepted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Regal Food Service, Inc., Houston, Texas, in the amount of
$1.825 per lunch at an total estimated cost of$57,816.00 for furnishing approximately 660
lunches per day for the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) sponsored by the Parks
and Recreation Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
