WHEREAS, on April 6, 1999, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
awarded a contract for the exterior wall replacement of the North Aircraft Hangar at the
Beaumont Municipal Airport to Ram Steel Constructors, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of$3,300 is required to provide for
the removal and replacement of deteriorated mansard framing in the North Aircraft Hangar
at the Beaumont Municipal Airport and will extend the contract completion date by fourteen
(14) days;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Interim City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order
No. 1 in the amount of$3,300 and to extend the contract completion date by fourteen (14)
days.
