WHEREAS sealed bids were received on Monday, March 22, 1999, for an annual
contract for the purchase of asphalts, oils, and emulsions for the Public Works
Department/Streets and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, Koch Materials Company submitted a bid in the amounts shown below:
SS-1 $0.65/ al.
RS-2 $0.64/gal
AES-300 $0.70/gal.
AE-P $0.77/ al
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Koch Materials
Company in the amounts shown above at an estimated annual usage of $37,460 should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Koch Materials Company for an annual contract for the
purchase of asphalts, oils, and emulsions for the Public Works Department/Streets and
Drainage Division in the unit amounts shown for an estimated annual usage amount of
$37,460 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the llzz day of
