BE IT RESOLVED BY CITY COUNCIL OF
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the purchase of a wireless data communications system
(WDCS) through the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) at a cost of$947,501.20 plus an
administrative fee of $14,985.20, resulting in a total cost of $962,486.40 and the purchase of the
communication software and hardware from Software House International, Inc. in the amount of
$225,392 to be utilized by the City's Management Information System (MIS) and the Police
Department.
