WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on Monday, April 12, 1999 for the purchase
of one (1) engine-driven horizontal fire pump for use at the Fire Training Center; and,
WHEREAS, Saladin Pump & Equipment submitted a bid in the amount of$93,995;
and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Saladin Pump
& Equipment should be accepted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Saladin Pump & Equipment in the amount of $93,995 for the
purchase of one (1) Goulds Model 3410 engine-driven horizontal fire pump be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day
