WHEREAS bids were received on Monday, April 12, 1999, for the purchase of one
(1) low profile, 4-5 cubic yard dump truck for the Public Works Department, Streets and
Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, Lawrence Marshall Chev-Olds, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$37,980; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Lawrence
Marshall Chev-Olds, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Lawrence Marshall Chev-Olds, Inc. for the purchase of a 2000
Chevrolet low profile cab and chassis equipped with a 4-5 cubic yard dump bed in the
amount of$37,980 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
