WHEREAS sealed bids were received on Monday, March 8, 1999, for the
replacement of the exterior metal wall systems at Buildings "C" and "D" of the Fleet
Maintenance Facility at 4955 Lafin Road; and,
WHEREAS, Ram Steel Constructors, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$28,800; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Ram Steel
Constructors, Inc., Beaumont, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Ram Steel Constructors, Inc., Beaumont, Texas for the
replacement of the exterior metal wall systems at Buildings "C" and "D" of the Fleet
Maintenance Facility at 4955 Lafin in the amount of $28,800 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
