WHEREAS, bids were received Monday, March 22 1999, for the construction of a
new softball complex at the Athletic Complex on College Street; and,
WHEREAS, Daniels Building & Construction, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, submitted a
bid in the amount of$1,427,900; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Daniels Building
& Construction, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Daniels Building & Construction, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, in the
amount of$1,427,900, for construction of a new softball complex at the Athletic Complex
on College Street be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day
