WHEREAS sealed bids were received on Monday, February 22, 1999 for the
purchase of one (1) 375 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM) diesel driven portable air
compressor for the Water Utilities Department, Sewer Maintenance Division; and,
WHEREAS, Ingersoll Rand Equipment, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$19,936 for the purchase of one (1) Ingersoll Rand Model P375WJD portable
air compressor; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Ingersoll Rand
Equipment, Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Ingersoll Rand Equipment, Houston, Texas in the amount of
$19,936 for the purchase of one (1) Ingersoll Rand Model P375WJD portable air
compressor be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1999.
