WHEREAS, sealed bids were received Monday, March 1, 1999, for the purchase
of one medium duty crew cab truck chassis equipped with a 4-5 cubic yard dump body to
be assigned to the Water Utilities, Sewer Maintenance Division; and,
WHEREAS, Lawrence Marshall Chev-Olds, Inc., Hempstead, Texas, submitted a
bid in the amount of$49,973; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Lawrence
Marshall Chev-Olds, Inc., Hempstead, Texas in the amount of $49,973 should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Lawrence Marshall Chev-Olds, Inc., Hempstead, Texas, in the
amount of$49,973 for one (1) 1999 Chevrolet Model CC71-1042 truck be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the �---� day of
