WHEREAS bids were received on Monday, February 15, 1999 for the purchase of
one (1)forty (40)ton drop deck lowboy trailer for the Public Works, Streets and Drainage
Division; and,
WHEREAS, Smart's Truck & Trailer, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$36,681 for the purchase of one (1)forty (40) ton drop deck lowboy trailer; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Smart's Truck
& Trailer, Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Smart's Truck & Trailer, Beaumont, Texas in the amount of
$36,681 for the purchase of one (1) Holden Model HMF40 drop deck lowboy trailer be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
