WHEREAS bids were received on February 15, 1999 for the repair and repainting
of the interior of the 1,500,000 gallon elevated storage tank located in Beaumont at Lucas
Street; and,
WHEREAS, Coatings, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$229,800 for the repair
and repainting of the interior of the 1,500,000 gallon elevated storage tank located in
Beaumont at Lucas Street; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Coatings, Inc.
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Coatings, Inc. for the repair and repainting of the interior of the
1,500,000 gallon elevated storage tank located in Beaumont at Lucas Street be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1999.
