WHEREAS, sealed bids were received Monday, February 8, 1999, for the purchase
and installation of filter media in the Water Production Plant, 1550 Pine Street; and,
WHEREAS, Vaughn Construction Company, LaGrange, Texas, submitted a bid in
the amount of$22,500; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Vaughn
Construction Company, LaGrange, Texas in the amount of $22,500 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Vaughn Construction Company, LaGrange, Texas in the
amount of$22,500 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the :a1C day of
1999.
