WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land, as shown
on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for the Neighborhood Revitalization Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following described land, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, for the Neighborhood Revitalization Project be and the same is hereby, approved:
Lots 10 and 11, Block 20 of the Cartwright Addition
(1820 and 1830 Corley Street)
Appraised Value: $5,000.00
Appraiser: Aulbaugh, Aulbaugh and Associates
Owner: Emma Wilridge Lee and the Estate of
Solomon Lee, Deceased
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
deed to Statewide Consolidated Community Development Corporation for construction
of homes on the property.
