WHEREAS, on April 1, 1997, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
awarded a contract for sanitary sewer improvements to the Folsom Interceptor
Rehabilitation Project, Contract Number Seven to Allco, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $62,366.70 is required to adjust
quantities of unit price bid items to provide for the installation of additional piping, fittings,
manholes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No.
1 in the amount of $62,366.70. The project, as stated above, be and the same is herein
accepted and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to make final payment in
the amount of $108,249.55 to Contractor, Allco, Inc.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the day of
71999.
