WHEREAS, Jasper-Newton Electric Cooperative, Inc. has requested a ten (10) foot
wide utility easement on a tract of land in the S. K. Vanmeter Survey, Abstract No. 53 in
Jasper County, as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the grant of said easement and is of
the opinion that the said easement of property is necessary and desirable and that same
should be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT said easement is hereby granted to Jasper-Newton Electric Cooperative, Inc. and
the City Manager is authorized to execute an easement for such purposes.
