WHEREAS, the claim of Eligah C. Jason, Jr. has been discussed in an Executive
Session properly called and held Tuesday, January 26, 1999; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Eligah C.
Jason, Jr. in the amount Eight-Thousand ($8,000.00) Dollars.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the a xc_ day of
11999.
