WHEREAS, bids were received January 6, 1999 for providing all labor, equipment
and materials necessary for clearing approximately fifteen (15) acres at the Beaumont
Municipal Athletic Complex; and,
WHEREAS, John Bankston Construction & Equipment Rental, Inc. submitted a bid
in the amount of $53,070.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by John Bankston
Construction & Equipment Rental, Inc. in the amount of$53,070.00 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by John Bankston Construction & Equipment Rental, Inc. for
providing all labor, equipment and materials necessary for clearing approximately fifteen
(15) acres at the Beaumont Municipal Athletic Complex be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1999.
