WHEREAS, on October 13, 1998, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
awarded a contract to Treyco Contractors, Inc. in the amount of$89,234.90 for the Flowers
Street Pavement Widening Project ; and
WHEREAS, during the course of the project, Change Order No. 1 in the amount
of($403.36) is required to adjust the estimated quantities to reflect the quantities actually
used during the performance of the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No.
1 decreasing the contract in the amount of$403.36. The project, as stated above, be and
the same is herein accepted and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to make
final payment in the amount of $46,205.85 to be paid to Treyco Contractors, Inc..
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the L'2ZJ day of
1999.
